Bot Prototype

This art work was originally a 2D concept art piece i found Online as a Reference to try out.

Breakdown
ZBrush
- I started off with the blocking out of the shapes.
- Refined each individual shape.
- Formed separate poly groups based off of color combination which was applied much later.
- Merged the different polygroups into one subtool while keeping keeps groups checked.
- Duplicated Original subtool and used UV master to create a UV map.
- Used existing UV Map to create Polypaint Groups from the original ploygroups in the beginning.
- Duplicated Model and used High Res 600K Quad Mesh character for Render.
- Decimated Duplicated Model and made a game ready 60K Tri mesh character.

Substance Painter:
- Uploaded Model as New Project.
- Once opened I baked all maps and made sure to include Polypaint ID under the ID map.
- Once Maps were baked all my colored Polypaint groups showed up as my guide for where the colors went.
- Applied a mask to each texture and used Mask by color ID.
